karin
Kurosaki Karin is one of the younger sisters of Ichigo, the main character of the series. She is only eleven years old, but she is tougher and more mature than girls of her age would normally be.
She wasn't born already like that, though. Karin used to be a crybaby, like her sister, Yuzu, up until their mother's death. However, after the incident, since Karin couldn't be as handy as Yuzu in doing the housework, the least she could do was not to make the family worry about him. So no matter what, she did not cry, even if she lost a fight or got hurt, which are things that would normally make a kid cry. She's trying hard to make herself useful in her own little way.
When she isn't out beating the shit out of her guy friends in a game or two, she is kicking the ass of her father whom she so endearingly calls 'Ol Beardo. XD
Like Ichigo, she has a high spiritual density, and can thus see spirits and hollows. Because of this, she is also the only one in the family who has a faint idea of what Ichigo's been up to.
